Ana Paula Cavalcanti Simioni

Bio

Ana Paula Cavalcanti Simioni is full professor at the Institute of Brazilian Studies, University of São Paulo-Brazil and a member of the Institut d’Études Avancés de Nantes. She is also a professor in the Interunits Post- graduate program in Esthetics and History of Art, Museum of Contemporary Art, USP. Her studies deal with the relations between art and gender in Brazil (XIX-XXI). She is also the curator of the exhibition "Transbordar: transgressions of embroidery in art," SESC-Pinheiros, November 2020 to May 2021. This publication was supported by FAPESP.
