Bio

Andrew Thacker is Professor of Twentieth Century Literature at Nottingham Trent University.  He is the author or editor of several books on modernism, including the three volumes of The Oxford Critical and Cultural History of Modernist Magazines (2009-13) and, most recently, Modernism, Space and the City (2019).

In this article, I want to examine briefly some connections between transnational networks, translation, and multilingualism in modernist magazines.
