Nicholas Sawicki

Bio

Nicholas Sawicki is Professor of Art History at Lehigh University. He is a historian of early twentieth-century art who writes on modernism in central and eastern Europe. Most recently, he is the author with Marie Rakušanová of Through the Eyes of Franz Kafka: Between Image and Language (Kant, 2024), available through Distributed Art Publishers.
