Kate McLoughlin
Bio
Kate McLoughlin is a Professor of English Literature at the University of Oxford and Fellow & Tutor in English Literature at Harris Manchester College. She is the author of Martha Gellhorn: The Writer in the Field and in the Text (2007), Authoring War: The Literary Representation of War from the Iliad to Iraq (2011) and Veteran Poetics: British Literature in the Age of Mass Warfare, 1790-2015 (2018), in addition to numerous edited and co-edited volumes. Funded by a Major Leverhulme Research Fellowship, she is currently writing a literary history of silence.
