Bio

Marta Figlerowicz is an Associate Professor of Comparative Literature and English at Yale University. She is the author of Flat Protagonists (2016) and Spaces of Feeling (2017). Her writing on literature, film, philosophy, and politics has appeared in academic venues such as New Literary History, Film Quarterly, and Poetics Today; in periodicals such as Jacobin, n+1, Boston Review, The Los Angeles Review of Books, and Foreign Affairs; and in mass-circulation newspapers such as The Washington Post and the Polish Gazeta Wyborcza
