Johanna Winant
Bio
Johanna Winant is Assistant Professor of English at West Virginia University. Her research focuses on the relationship between modern literature and philosophy; her current book project, Lyric Logic: American Modernism and the Problem of Induction, argues that modern American poetry transforms an epistemological problem—the difficulty of predicting future experiences based on past ones— into an ambitious poetic strategy.
