Laura Winkiel
Bio
Laura Winkiel is an Associate Professor in the English Department at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She is author of Modernism: The Basics (Routledge, 2017), Modernism, Race and Manifestos (Cambridge University Press, 2008) and co-editor of Geomodernisms: Race, Modernism, Modernity (Indiana University Press, 2005). She is presently at work on a book called Fugitive Forms: Ocean Crossings at the End of Empire. She is currently Past President of the Modernist Studies Association.
